Home Decor Makeover?
I have a few pictures that are in gold frames. I like the pictures, but am ready to get rid of the gold. Someone once told me that you can put shoe poolish on the frames to change the color. Is this true? or should I just paint the frames?
paint them. shoe polish is likely to rub off on hands.
i spray painted a brass flower pot with flat black and then rubbed some of the paint off (with a small bit of steel wool) so the brass shows through. it has an aged feel to it and looks great.
