We have had Mohawk flooring in all our homes. We loved it…until now. We bought a new home with approx. 3800sft of Mohawk wood flooring. We have been here approx. 8 months. The floor is horrible. The smallest pressure by anything leaves deep scratches, which cannot be repaired. I have never even allowed guests to wear shoes in our homes.

Cyn, you were just about perfect. Your suggestion that drying the floor is a good idea “if you have time” is a mistake. The moisture MUST BE dried by hand immediately.
