My 19 y.o.Terrier slips on our hardwood & tile floors. Anyone ever try Musher’s Secret or Shaw’s Pet Wax?
I’ve had her nails trimmed and hair between the pads cut. She has arthritis in her hips. I’m hoping that an application on her paws will help stability.
I also found ads for a spray-on called “Show Foot”; an anti-slip aerosol spray used in indoor dog shows. Problem: only available in Canada.

I have a 10 year old german shepherd who has arthritis plus degenerative nerve and muscle loss in both of her rear legs and I went out and bought some inexpensive carpet runners to put on my tile and harwood floors for her to walk on. She loves it and doesn’t have to worry about falling around on the floor. I thought I’d mind the runners, but I like them as they help track the dirt that is dragged in when the dogs are out in the yard. I got the carpet runners at Lowes and it has the rubber backing on it. I think it was about $1.19 a foot.
