Where can I buy wide plank wood flooring direct from the manufacturer?
I need about 3600 sq ft. with an antique look prefinished in a 10 to 12″ wide and 10 foot plus long planks.
First question, where are you located and what type of wood?
Unless you are looking for laminates, you are going to have a tough time finding prefinished plank flooring. Plank flooring has to be face secured. It is too unstable to tongue nail only. And, even a very dry plank flooring will moved after it is put down. When I put it down, I screw and plug it, then let it season in the home through a winter and summer before final finish.
Lastly, you will need deep pockets for plank flooring! I have a custom mill just down the road from me that mills 1x plank flooring pine for me in square edge, T&G. I am in California.
